Whos the Kid on Vine That Dances Funny

Err, who is that mysterious TikTok man who dances in the bathroom pls?

He went viral dancing to Nelly Furtado's Say it Right

Say It Right TikTok

If you've been on TikTok recently you will definitely have seen a video of a man filming himself dancing to Nelly Furtado's song Say It Right in his bathroom mirror.

The simplicity and quirkiness of the short video gives us vine vibes and proves once again that anything can go viral. People can try to jump on trends all they want but at the end of the day, you really can't predict what next thing will take the internet by storm.

His video has blown up on TikTok, reaching 297.9 million views and 39.2 million likes at the time of writing.

While we all love a bit of mystery every now and then this video has raised a lot of questions.

Why does the video start with his sink? Why not cut that bit out or do another take?

What's with the the Power Rangers t-shirt?

And who exactly is the video for?

Here at heatworld we're going to answer these seemingly unanswerable questions.

Who is the viral Say It Right TikTok man?

Ah, the question that's been on all our minds: just who is this man with a passion for Nelly Furtado and Power Rangers?

The answer... really isn't much of an answer we're afraid. The dancer goes by the name of Jamie Big Sorrel Horse, aka @jamie32bsh. Really this just opens up more questions....

If we look into his TikTok account we can see he has made a variety of other videos, none of which have been able to quite capture the lightning in a bottle that was his Say It Right video.

Jamie's videos often involve him dancing to songs from a range of genres, from hits like The Weeknd's Blinding Lights to viral TikTok songs such as Skinnamarink.

Although he's clearly a big fan of Nelly Furtado, as another of his videos features him dancing to a mashup of her banger Promiscuous with Ariana Grande's motive.

If you really delve into his older TikTok content you will find he's been using the platform for the last couple of years, often recreating trends with his own unique spin on them.

Where is the viral Say It Right TikTok man from?

Jamie has revealed to his TikTok followers that he's of Native American heritage. He often references his background his videos.

TikTok wealth estimated by Forbes

Slide 2 of 6

  • 5) Josh Richards, 18 - £1.1m

TikTok's resident pin-up shot to fame partying with his Sway House collective in their LA mansion. Sponsorships with Reebok and Houseparty, plus a record deal, have made Josh plenty of cash, and he's also co-founded a talent management company, plus an energy drinks firm. He recently caused a flap by moving to TikTok rival Triller.

  • 4) Loren Gray, 18 - £1.8m

At the start of 2020, US teen Loren had the largest TikTok fanbase, thanks to her videos lip-syncing to Nicki Minaj. Rae and the D'Amelios may have overtaken her, but Loren's still a millionaire through promotions with Skechers, Burger King and Chipotle, who made her do cringey stunts such as a "guacamole dance-off".

  • 3) Dixie D'Amelio, 19 - £2.2m

Charli's older sister (above right) is no slouch in the social stakes, either. She's scored a record deal - first single Be Happy has been streamed 58m times so far - and has promo deals with clothing and cosmetics firms. With the Kardashians about to disappear from our screens, the D'Amelio sister act is poised to fill that space.

  • 2) Charli D'Amelio, 16 - £3.1m

Charli has the most followers on the app (89.3m), but hasn't matched Addison's wealth yet, possibly due to her age. Still, the ex-competitive dancer charges a hefty £37k per Instagram post, sells her Charli-branded hoodies for £47 a pop, and has signed a deal to front US teen clothing brand Hollister, too.

  • 1) Addison Rae (20) - £3.9m

Became famous on the app last year after posting videos of herself dancing with her mum. Since then, she's picked up 65.9m followers, bagged a brand deal with teen clothing firm American Eagle, launched a podcast and merch line, plus become pals with Kourtney Kardashian. She's also just been cast in a remake of '90s teen comedy She's All That.

What are the best versions of the viral Say It Right TikTok trend?

As with anything on TikTok as soon as it goes viral, other users find creative ways to put their own spin on it (including some of our favourite celebs).

With this trend, most users will recreate the video by starting on their own bathroom sink, panning up to reveal them in the mirror for a second, before cutting back to the original video.

Here's some of our favourite versions of the trend...

Hype House

After the success of Jamie's video and his massive increase in viewers and followers there have been calls for Jamie to join the Hype House.

FYI Hyde House is probably the most famous "TikTok House" and the creators fuelled thisthe rumours even further by creating their own version of the trend.

Nelly Furtado

Yep, you heard us right. Jamie's mind was no doubt blown when Nelly Furtado herself gave him and his video a shout out. She released a video on her official TikTok account of her music video for the song including Jamie's TikTok as a "deleted scene".

Joining Jamie

Some genius users decided to insert themselves into the mirror with Jamie to truly be there with him in the moment.

Here's one of our favourites by @azminzainal _.

Power Ranger

One of our favourite twists of the trend is this version where the roles are inverted and a power ranger dances in the mirror wearing a t-shirt with Jamie on it.

King Bach

Vine turned TikTok legend King Bach released his take on the video too. It starts off with him running water over one of his shoes in the sink - for some odd reason. Then, as with the original video, he pans the camera up and cuts to Jamie dancing.
