Your guide to shopping Queen Street Mall

Shopping in Brisbane City is a vibrant adventure. With more than 700 stores on the Queen Street Mall alone (and 1,000-plus retailers across Brisbane City), it can be a challenge to know where to find what you're looking for. Here is our comprehensive shopping guide for Queen Street Mall and the surrounding streets.

Shopping centres and arcades off Queen Street Mall

QueensPlaza

QueensPlaza is the glitzy home to high-end brands and Queensland's flagship five-storey David Jones department store. On the ground floor of QueensPlaza, you'll find a range of renowned international luxury boutiques including Burberry, Tiffany & Co., Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, Paspaley, Salvatore Ferragamo, Dior, Saint Laurent, Fendi and Chanel with Gucci soon to open.

On the upper level, shop high-end Australian brands such as Aje, Alice McCall, Zimmermann, sass & bide, Viktoria & Woods, Scanlan Theodore and Gorman, along with Aesop and Mecca Cosmetica.

Downstairs is a circular food court with quick grab-and-go style eateries alongside more retailers including kikki.K, Card & Caboodle, T2 and a Coles Express supermarket, plus a range of beauty stores and services including Get Threaded, Hairhouse Warehouse and Laser Clinics. There are also shops along Adelaide Street such as Mimco, Kitten D'Amour and Saba.

Wintergarden

Wintergarden is the Queen Street Mall shopping centre adorned with an eye-catching steel butterfly sculpture on its facade. Within you'll find multiple levels with a range of local and national boutiques, including menswear stores.

With various entrances to access Wintergarden, including Queen Street Mall and Edward Street, you'll find shops including Veronika Maine, Cue, Dinosaur Designs, Lululemon, Seed, Athlete's Foot, R.M. Williams and Mecca Maxima. Within the centre itself, look for COS, Aquila, Dissh, Peter Jackson, Pigeonhole, Nine West and Sheike.

Below ground, you'll find a large food court and select retailers including Factorie.  The upper level of Wintergarden hosts several casual restaurants, including Grill'd, plus entertainment options such as Strike and Holey Moley Golf Club.

170 Queen Street

Previously known as Broadway on the Mall, this three-level retail centre features two major international brands: H&M and Uniqlo, and is also part of the Wintergarden complex. Walk through the mall behind the flagship stores to Broadway on Adelaide where you'll discover a treasure trove of homewares, kitchen and bathroom accessories and stationery at Daiso on the lower level. You'll also find Jan Logan's elegant jewellery and Crumpler's indestructible luggage at Broadway on Adelaide alongside Kitten D'Amour boutique and more.

The Myer Centre

The largest of Queen Street Mall's shopping centres, the six-level Myer Centre sits at the George Street end of the mall. On the very top levels, you'll find Event Cinemas and the Funhouse games arcade, along with Lincraft, Daiso and more. The lower two floors house a massive food court spanning two levels, a Target department store and Coles Express supermarket.

On the middle floors, you'll find Queensland's flagship Myer department store. Keep an eye out for women's fashion stores including Jacqui E, Honey Birdette, Cotton On Body, Katies, Sussan, Novo, Wittner and more; menswear stores such as Politix, yd., Tarocash, Florsheim and R.M. Williams; unisex retailers such as Country Road, Surf Dive 'N Ski and Just Jeans; and jewellery and accessory stores Angus & Coote, Prouds, Pandora, Lovisa, Strandbags and Mano.

There's also a selection of K-beauty stores (MD Ranking and W Cosmetics) plus beauty retailers such as Lush, My Beauty Spot and L'Occitane.

Brisbane Arcade

This historic arcade is an icon along the Queen Street Mall. Within the 1923-built dwelling you'll find two levels plus a basement of small, boutique stores with lots of local Brisbane fashion and jewellery designers calling the space home.

As far as jewellery designers and stores go there are more than 20 in the arcade. On the Street Level you'll find CitiGold, Hofstays, Pandora, Robert White Jewellers, Stones Diamond Ring Specialists and Vintage Watch Co, and on the Gallery Level find Ashley Douglas, Brisbane Jewellers Workshop, Bradley Fine Jewellery, Duncan Vickers Engraver, Girls love Pearls, James Tyler Jeweller, Kimmison Jewellery, and Stephen Dibb Jewellery.

Brisbane designers calling the arcade home include Tengdahl, Irma J Smith, Maiocchi, Pia du Pradal and Darb Bridal Couture. Also look out for specialty shops The Model Shoppe, and The Tea Centre.

Tattersall's Arcade

Another historic arcade, Tattersall's Arcade opened in 1926 and takes its name from the private membership Tattersall's Club where it is housed. The one-level arcade includes high-end stores such as Longchamp, Furla, Optiko, Hunt Leather, Canturi, Lannah Dunn Fine Jewellery, Rimowa and Robert's Menswear. Cute Italian cafe Marchetti does an excellent cannoli and coffee, while Dello Mano brownies has a well-deserved cult following.

MacArthur Central

MacArthur Central is home to several stores and services, including one of the only full-sized supermarkets in The City. Woolworths can be found on the basement floor alongside a BWS bottleshop, Priceline Pharmacy and select grab-and-go food outlets. On the ground and upper floor, you'll find a two-level Big W department store, while the upper floor houses a food court and JB Hi-Fi.

On the exterior street levels flanking Edward and Queen streets, shop TAG Heuer, Hugo Boss, the APM Monaco jewellery store and The City's only Apple Store.

Mega international retailers along Queen Street Mall

The mall has some big international players that have opened shop in The City. A two-storey H&M and three-level Uniqlo sit side-by-side with massive glass frontage on the mall. Opposite, a three-storey Zara houses the Spanish label's woman, man and child ranges.

Stores on the mall

Many major Australian brands call QSM home. Towards the Edward Street end of the mall, you'll find Lorna Jane, R.M. Williams, Rodd & Gunn, Cue and Seed, alongside tourist shop Australia The Gift.

Towards the George Street/Treasury Brisbane end of the Queen Street Mall, you'll find a Cotton On megastore, the Myer department store, two Rebel Sport outlets, Jo Mercer, Lush, Valley Girl, Jay Jays, Forever New, Peter Alexander, Sportsgirl, The Reject Shop, Mr Toys Toysworld and Priceline.

Shopping along Albert Street

Albert Street intersects the middle of Queen Street Mall. Head in the direction of Elizabeth Street to find sporting, streetwear and footwear brands at Hype DC, Nike, Foot Locker and Universal Store plus JB Hi-Fi and Kathmandu outdoor apparel store.

Towards the King George Square side of Albert Street, drop into Rocking Horse for records and more, Perfect Potion for natural oils and scents and Off Ya Tree for alternative clothing.

Streets surrounding Queen Street Mall

Along the Edward Street luxury shopping precinct, expect to find international retailers such as TAG Heuer, Hermes, Cartier, Hugo Boss, Ermenegildo Zegna, Montblanc and more as well as menswear boutiques Mitchell Ogilvie Menswear and Canali. Brisbane jewellery designer Christie Nicolaides can also be found along Edward Street.

Adelaide Street has a variety of small, boutique shops, including Monster Threads, Biome and Laced, as well as the Broadway on Adelaide retailers and hair salons and vintage stores.

Elizabeth Street has an eclectic range of Asian eateries, independent boutiques and streetwear stores that include Scotch & Soda clothing, Xile Boutique, Culture Kings, General Pants Co. and Fast Times plus a multi-level building housing Glue Store and JD Sports at the intersection of Elizabeth and Albert streets.
